In accordance with the Labor Code, it is prohibited to deny employment to women and reduce their wages for reasons related to pregnancy or having children.

In case of refusal to hire a pregnant woman or a woman with a child under the age of three, the employer is obliged to inform them of the reasons for the refusal in written form.

Refusal to hire these persons may be appealed against in court.
